The world is drowning in data. Videos, photos, documents, code, and audio grow faster than our ability to store and move them. Memory 369 introduces a new way to handle information: instead of sending heavy files, we send a tiny, smart .369 file that “teleports” the content. The .369 file carries just the essential clues about the original (we call them latents), and the receiver’s device recreates the full experience locally with the help of AI.
This approach is inspired by Multi-Level Cell (MLC) thinking: rather than seeing memory as simple on/off bits, we use multiple “levels” to pack more meaning per unit of storage. When combined with modern AI, this lets us achieve 50×–100× reductions in size for many media workloads while preserving the experience.
Memory 369 is built by Drive369 DAO and designed to work across today’s internet and decentralized networks (e.g., IPFS/Filecoin for storage, Ethereum for access rights and token utility). Our goal is simple: make data lighter, ownership clearer, and the global data economy more efficient and sustainable.
Traditional storage is like a light switch: off or on (0 or 1). MLC is more like a dimmer: many brightness levels in a single bulb. More levels = more information in the same physical space.
How Memory 369 applies this idea in software:
Result: drastically smaller files that still feel like the originals once reconstructed.
